Background

The Green Jar is a legal smoke retailer and lifestyle brand operating in North Texas, with locations in Dallas and newly expanded operations in Fort Worth. In early 2025, we launched a series of events under the brand "Puff, Pour, & Paint" to drive foot traffic, community engagement, and brand awareness. Grand Socials was hired to lead full digital event marketing, including Facebook/Instagram ads, Eventbrite optimization, and content strategy.

Challenges & Objectives

  • New Location Launches: Fort Worth and Dallas were new markets with no prior audience or data.

  • Niche Targeting: The smokers-themed event needed highly strategic, compliant ad targeting.

  • Multi-Event Calendar: Weekly events needed constant promotion, funnel setup, and conversion tracking.

  • Conversion-Focused Goal: Generate consistent ticket sales and measurable ROI.

Our objective: Sell out as many events as possible and position The Green Jar as a go-to brand for smoker-friendly experiences.

 

What Makes Our Strategy Successful

Grand Socials created a multi-layered approach tailored to smoking event compliance and event marketing:

  • Dynamic Ad Campaigns: We ran 60+ unique Facebook & Instagram ads across 3 separate ad accounts (Main, Fort Worth, Boosted Posts).

  • Retargeting: Used retargeting measures to re-engage visitors who didn’t buy on the first click.

  • Location-Based Strategy: Fort Worth & Dallas campaigns used neighborhood and interest targeting to build a new audience from scratch.

  • Creative Variety: Each event had multiple ad creatives with different hook angles (visuals, UGC content, countdowns, testimonials).

  • Conversion Optimization: Real-time adjustments to cost per click (CPC), landing page optimization, and audience exclusions.

  • Eventbrite SEO Setup: Titles, tags, descriptions, and upsells were optimized for visibility and mobile conversions.

📍 Dallas Location Performance (Jan–Sept 2025)

  • Total Gross Sales: $102,199.92

  • Total Net Sales: $85,834.35 (after Eventbrite fees and Taxes) 

  • Total Tickets Sold: 1,591

  • Orders: 1,506

  • Top Campaigns: Achieved $0.13–$0.18 cost per click (CPC) and thousands of purchases tracked via Eventbrite.

  • Lifetime Ad Spend: $10,342.06

  • Total Link Clicks: 62,225

  • Impressions: 3.26M

  • Launched in July 2025 with zero prior data.

  • Top Campaign CPC: $0.16–$0.20

  • Total Ad Spend: $3,232.26

  • Link Clicks: 11,000+

  • Impressions: 912,032

  • Established early buyer behavior and successful launch events

Boosted Campaigns

  • Additional 843,553 impressions, $3.6 CPM, and high engagement via boosted posts.

  • CPC as low as $0.12 with thousands of landing page views.
